Myron founded AppSec Sentinel after a decade spent building and defending security programs from the inside — at a global media conglomerate, at a Big Four consultancy, and at one of the industry's best-known threat intelligence firms. He leads every engagement personally.
Myron's career began on the floor of a security operations center, monitoring live traffic and triaging incidents in real time — the kind of hands-on pattern recognition no framework or certification can substitute for. That foundation led him into advanced threat hunting at one of the industry's best-known threat intelligence firms, where he spent over a year tracing the tactics of sophisticated, persistent adversaries across enterprise networks and conducting the forensic investigations that followed.
From there, his path took him into federal and defense environments, supporting network security and vulnerability assessment work on a sensitive government contract, before moving into enterprise consulting. As a senior consultant at a global Big Four advisory firm, he spent nearly two years running insider threat and counterintelligence engagements — the work of finding the leak, the exfiltration, or the compromised insider before real damage is done.
He then shifted into the entertainment industry directly, working hands-on as a security engineer for a marketing agency and a production-focused technology consultancy — hardening cloud infrastructure, managing SIEM and DLP programs, and securing the creative applications that power film and television production and promotion.
For the past several years, he has worked inside one of the world's largest media and entertainment companies — first as a senior penetration tester performing hands-on web application testing, code review, and architecture assessments, and more recently leading global content security operations, building the workflows, controls, and compliance programs that protect content across the production and distribution pipeline.
